Starting with inexperience, the Cards failed to take advan tages. Result was a 0 to 0 tie with the Blossoms. Showing little improvement they were pressed hard to defeat Adams 6 to 0. Hitting their stride the Cards flooded the air with pas-es to trounce Stewartville 41 to 6. Reversing their style of play the Cards ran wild on the ground to defeat Grand Meadow 33 to 6. The line deserves plenty of credit for this victory. Two teams came upon the field undefeated: Bayfield left undefeated. A Cardinal thrust died six inches from the coveted goal line and they suffered their first and last defeat 7 to 6. Spirited by the Homecoming crowd and the previous weeks defeat, Le Roy overpowered Spring Valley 19 to 0. The Cards traveled to Riceville to take a rough and tumble 12 to 0 victory. Adams, who had made a 1attle earlier in the season were trounced 40 to 0. Several seniors played their last football for Le Roy
