To the ad- ministration, fac- ulty, students, and townspeople, Leon means good sportsmanship, loyalty, leadership, and academic opportunity. She holds high the ideals of truth, scholarship, and friendship. The Alma Mater was written in 1934 by Coach Charles Henry Blake Clark during his first year at Leon, The music for the Alma Mater is a medly of college tunes including the Cornell Alma Mater. The Alma Mater means much to the school and to the students. It should be sung with a feel- ing of indebtedness to our Alma Mater, Leon High School.
