They arrive before 8:30 each morning and leave each after- noon with briefcases bulging with paperwork. For those in- volved with extra-curricular ac- tivities the days are even longer. It takes a special person to be a teacher. A teacher must have in- finite patience, enthusiasm, a sense of humor and dedication above and beyond the call of duty. I'm fortunate — my stu- dents are fortunate — that these men and women chose to make LHS their career. Teachers, I sa- lute you!
