Seniors Express Their Opinions The year 1979 had a special significance to everyone at LHS. Some of the seniors expressed their opinions about their last year. It's a time that will always be cherished and remembered. I loved it. I'd like to live all those good times over again. It was fun, but I'm glad it's over. Seniors Explore New Horizons Classes required for the seniors were English IV and government. Other classes offered were modern problems, physics, shops, advanced math, Algebra II, and office practice. Business law was offered the first semester, and personal finance was offered the second semester. The office practice girls worked up town in a business office during seventh hour for the last six weeks of school. During the last nine weeks of government, the seniors were on their own. They took oral tests and covered the remaining chapters at their own speeds. Six chapters were necessary to pass the course. The annual term paper ended the seniors' last year of English.
