Leola Attends Math Contest In Aberdeen For the first time this year, the math classes taught by Mrs. Nancy Scott attended the math contest held at Northern State College in Aberdeen. Those attending were Jackie Mack and Clark Neuharth for Algebra 11, Lowell Morrison, Jeff Hoff- man, and Jane Yost for geometry, and Suzi Zulk and Glenn Rath for Algebra I. Although no one placed in the events, they felt they did very well for their first year and are looking forward to trying again next year. About three weeks of school were missed throughout the winter because of bad weath- er and roads. Toward the end of the year, school missed during the week was made up on Saturdays instead of mak- ing it up during the summer.
