Diane Schooley Greg Taylor Wad a Spitzer Charlie Valentine Marie Steiger Melody Weisser Seniors Prepare For Graduation The classes offered to seniors this year were personal finance business law, sociolo- gy psychology, office practice, shop, home ec., and Typing II. English IV and American Government were required courses for Graduation. In English, the seniors studied grammar and literature the first semester. The second semester, they read Gulliver's Travels and worte term papers. The government classes learned about the different branches of the federal government and the early history of American govern- ment. They also studied government at the state and local levels. Office practice and Typing II took up the last two periods of the day for the students who took them. They were designed to prepare the students for work after graduation from high school. 22 Seniors

Seniors Choose Motto We are not afraid of tomor- row, for we have seen yes- terday and we love today was the motto chosen by the seniors. As their colors, they chose dark green and light green to go with the class flower, the red rose. Rev. Richard Ward of Aberdeen was chosen to be the speaker for Graduation. Graduation was held May 12 this year, which is a week earlier than is traditional. Baccalaureate was held on May 7. UPPER RIGHT: Janell Ketterling, Patti Morrison, and Dawn Hoffman work on home ec.
