STUDENT LIFE It isn't all work and no play at Leola. Many ex- tracurricular activities are available for students who wish to participate in them. I try to take part in as many as I can. I heard that activities help develop a fellow's personality; so I thought maybe they would help me grow faster. I love the fun we have in putting on a play, the sat- isfaction of having a voice in our cheering section, or the recognition of belonging to the honor roll. I may be small, but I'm a very good worker. Some- times, though, I feel that I don't quite fit in like the bigger Pirates do. But, I would never let any of them down. I keep on work- ing because I know that my contributions, though small, are of value to me and the activity. We had better get started if I am going to show you all our activities of 1969. 27
