Listen, my children---- Making good use of their start in kindergarten last year,our newest boots made great strides in the 3 Rfs.In colorful Pirate costumes they were the wake of the Home- coming parade--and one of its centers of interest. The carnival program, the spring exhibit, and their first Valentine box were some of the things that made our youngest Pirates happy to be on board. Outnumbering the boys almost two to one, the girls man the bridge in the second grade.With a better understanding of words,new worlds of reading have been opened to this class,while writing has be- come a useful tool of expression. Cub scouting has brought some of the boys their first taste of group activity.
