CARNIVAL tlt The annual school carnival, scheduled November 21 and 22, '.vas an outstanding success. Entertainment included a variety of stands, grade and high school skits, a lunch room, and a taxi- dance. The impressive coronation of the freshmen candidates, Fred Hilgemann and Jeanette Walth, as the royal king and queen, climaxed the evening. Royal attendants were Lee Conahan and Evelyn Geffre, senior candidates; Monte Goodrich and Audrey Crouch, junior candidates; Gordon Schanzenbach and Viva Turner, sophomore candidates. Since the carnival was a financial venture, the class rais- ing the most money received top honors—the coronation, of their candidates as carnival king and queen. Class events held for this purpose were: freshman—trap shoot; senior--card party; junior--box social; and sophomore--bake sale.
