Lights! Action! Camera! Lights! Action! Camera starts rolling as tiie title appears, Scenes of 77 . It ' s a unique movie, made up of its own time and settings . Each act is special, meaningful for everyone involved. It ' s about us and the way we were. So, just sit back and enjoy as the memories roll past you, for these are the Scenes of 77 . Act 1: The curtains open to the East Lobby and the projector begins, as a quiet voice narrates: It ' s the opening day of school and the students are returning. We run around excitedly to find what ' s changed and what ' s the same, to talk once again with old friends and teachers. There ' s relief to many that afternoon TA room has been dropped, but surprise to find that subject area fees will be charged this year. Mr. Jones announces the beginning of detention, everyone had something to say about that . After a while the excitement subsides and we settle into the routine of school . The scene changes to Mr. Gabet ' s TA room and we hear him describing Zack ' s attempts at potty training when Gong, Ding, Ding- Ding-a-Ding, Thud. The morning announcements come over the air - delivered by those ace comedians Tony Hudson and Tony Wittwer . Theirs is a low budget news program and they write their own copy. ' . ' Cheryl Ridderheim and Barry Delagrange, your books are not in the office. Mr. Shaw ' s fourth period class will meet today in Mr . Shaw ' s room, as scheduled. At least, no one ignores morning announcements anymore. The bell rings , fade out , as the students pass out of the room to their next class. Act 11 opens with a series of vignettes of first period classes: a senior boy in the library, catching a few winks before beginning his day; Miss B timing laps in the gym No cutting corners, you girls! Then maybe a friendly little game of Speedaway or Warball; T
