We the class of 44 chose tor our leaders thr e prominent students to guide us through our freshman year Feading these leaders was Ephraim Kipter president with Ieanette Kryder vice prestderit and Ioseph oommer secretary treasurer Supervising these otticers were Miss Audref Beerbower and Mr Ralph Davis We had many good times throughout the year Our tirst party was held at the Cedarville Park October 3 the second was h ld at the Lions gym nastum Tempered a bit by responsiblhty we plunged deeply in activities assum 1ng many duties and tasks that might have been avoided and lending v gor and enthusiasm to all we did On election day the sophomores decision ended up with lim Wermuth president Ephraim Kipter assistant and leanette Kryder secretary treasurer As we looked at these class otttcers and class sponsors Miss Audrey Beer bower and Mr Floyd White we kne N we were going to have a succe sful year The sophomores gave two plays tor the Farmers lnstitute Quackl Quack' and The Yard ot Argument which were entoyed by all We could write about the class ot 44 indefinitely naming the students our class has proved itself and a great many varsity stations were held by tts members In music as well as in other activities the class forged ahead training itself for leadership Now as Juniors this group has won its laurets and will continue to climb to bigger and better goals during its tmal year Having passed through the ups and downs ot our nrst two years into the upperclassman stage we now look forward to what is s ipposedly the hap Uiest year ot a student s lite his senior year By th1s time next year we would probably say this in a dlgnitted senior manner Nor do we know whether our class has achleved the highest scholastt standmg But our spirit IS great and without this Splfll we would be lost This p1r1t has been shown in many different ways lt is shown by the intelligent attention to our school work It is loyally displayed by the participatton in many of the vartous extra curricular CICl1V1lteS ottered us We are proud of the tact that alrrtost every Junior can be credlted with good sportsmanship What would any of our Armed Forces do witnout leaders? Likewise what would the Junior clas do without leaders?
