Moving In When a freshman arrives on the Lenoir-Rhyne campus he is traditionally unaware of what is going on. Prologue just seems like a reason for getting everyone to school just a little earlier. For the freshman class every year, Prologue is a means of making those first college steps a little easier. The week of Prologue is a kind of preview to the coming attraction: the real college experience. This year ' s Prologue was a week filled with both planned and unplanned activities primarily aimed at making the freshmen feel more at home. Prologue was planned and organized by students for students. The coordinators were Ann Merck and Mike Guelzow. They were assisted by thirty-two Prologue team leaders; students ranging from sophomores to seniors who want- ed to join in on the Prologue Experience. From Saturday, August 22, until Wednesday, the day before classes, the freshman class was divided into thirty-two Prologue teams — groups ranging from ten to eighteen people — and they participated in various activities aimed at familiarizing them with the campus. • ' I promise it will be fun, Ann Merck assures Mike McGowen and family. - s-
