The gang ' s all here! The retreat participants gather for a group picture. The Leadership Development Program at Lenoir-Rhyne has been a highlight for many of the students involved. The program, now in its fourth year, has given both students and staff a way of sharing in a learning environ- These students find time to spend with each other between leadership sessions. 28 Student Life

WINWR AT L R The winter of 1987 at Lenoir- Rhyne was one to remember. As the snow began to fall, the stu- dents questioned one another if they felt that classes would be cancelled. The snow kept falling and got deeper by the moment. Classes were cancelled and the students enjoyed their days off from classes. The campus turned into a battle zone, as snowball fights broke out all over campus. Others played winter sports. The campus had been blanked in one the most beautiful snowfalls in years.
