STARTING OVER PROLOGUE It is a rainy day in August but there is anticipation and eagerness in the air. The Freshmen are coming. Parents, prologue leaders and peers all work together to fill the freshmen dorms, isenhour and Morgan, with clothes, lin- ens, posters, stereos, refrigerators, food, drink, t.v. ' s and most important — peo- ple. Prologue is a program to orientate the freshman and transfer students to the new world that Lenoir-Rhyne provides. Not only does it benefit the students with the knowledge of where things are locat- ed on campus, but it gives them a chance to meet now people, make new friends. and experience new independence. One activity of the week is the ropes course, used to build confidence in your- self and in the other members of your prologue group. Another event is the scavenger hunt, sending everyone on their feet to collect signatures of pro- logue leaders in designated areas of the campus. Finally there is the visit to the home of President Trainer to meet our (copy continued on pg. 25) Looking cool and suave are Connie Shoberg. Tim Ludwig, and Gina Mayes, prologue leaders for 1985. The fifties was the theme for Pro- logue. Huddled up and hugging each other is one of the prologue groups at the ropes course. The ropes course is located behind Price Village. The shinny chrome and sun glasses helped show off the fifties spirit for these Prologue leaders. Jean Robertson. Allen Deal, Barbara Best. Ken Benzmlller and Jeff Miller. Don Hayes.
