ANTIGONE Antigone, the Lenoir- Rhyne Playmakers ' first production of the year transformed the Belk Centrum into a modern day Nicaragua. The walls were decorated with graffiti such as Viva Creon. The buildings used as props were quite shabby which lead the viewer to believe that the buildings had been bombed. Armed guards dressed in army fatigues patrolled the area checking passports. This version of the play was successful in giving a Classical Greek Tragedy a relevant meaning in today ' s world. 1 . , . .Jeremy Fisher i . . .Cathy Butler tBeth Westbrook r. . . The Student Government Association, Student Affairs office, Program Board, the Broyhill Institute, and the Lineberger Center helped underwrite the retreat.
