DEDICATION From the direction of North Hall comes the sound of a man whistling . . . It is soon recognized as a song of an extraordinary teacher, colleague and friend. Always, there is upon meeting him a gentle and meaningful word — a greeting from a caring friend which somehow makes the recipient feel more worthwhile. And so he affects our com- munity of learning with his enthusiasm for the College, the Christian Faith, and all God ' s people. Dr. Glass . . . Professor Glass ... or Joe Glass . . . thank you for your wit- ness and dedication to learning here . . . for being the mentor to students in Christion education ... for years of service as advisor to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes ... for belief in col- legiate athletics (we ' ll even acknowl- edge Clemson ' s program) ... for con- tinued support of the Lenoir-Rhyne College tennis program . . . for inspired teaching . . . and for hours spent one on one with people you care about every- where.
