To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven ... Ecclesiastes 3:1 This edition of the HACAWA reflects the year completed. It is not a complete reflection, only a partial one. But each person can add his own reflections of the year. For each of us, in his own way, is a part of that reflection. The academic year, 1981-82, is reflected by who we are, what we have done, and all that is about us. Perhaps we may compare our movement through the year to seasonal transition. We are as varied as fall leaves. We may appear dormant at times. Yet we are in a constant state of preparation. We evolve renewed and budding. We who shared this year saw the tradition of the Yoder building give way to newness and progress, as winter gives way to spring. Our campus reflects us, as it is a reflection of us. All that we do here and be- yond has its own time, its own season. Through this introduction we would like to share with you some of the seasonal events of the year. These events reflected the uniqueness of the season. Even though the cycle repeats itself each year, there remain those special events that make 1982 ours alone.
