COLLEGE BOWL A highlight of Spring at LR is the annual COLLEGE BOWL. Since this event always comes after the final dead- line for the HACAWA. no remembrance is placed in the annual of this event, which involves more students than any other single co-curricular activity. Thirty-two teams come from every section of the Student Body: dorm and commuter, male and female, Greek and Independent, freshman and senior. They compete in the battle of the brains as they answer toss-up questions and then qualify for bonus questions, worth more points. Questions come from all areas including science, history, sports, trivia, et cetera. A student staff joins with a faculty moderator to form the directors of the Bowl. Some 160 students take part as the elimination process narrows the teams down to two for the final round for the championship. An All-College Bowl Team of outstanding participants is named at the end of the final rounds. 28 Events
