BOARD OF TRUSTEES Lenoir Rhyne College is operated by the North Caro- lina Synod of the Lutheran Church in America through a Board of Trustees. This Board determines the gen- eral policies and program, and plans for the future de- velopment and the financial support of the College. It engages the administrative officers and the faculty who manage the affairs and con- duct the educational pro- gram of the institution. The membership of the Board is composed of nine ministers and fifteen laymen who are elected by the North Carolina Synod of the Lutheran Church in America. It also includes two ex-officio members: the President of the Synod and the President of the College.
