We came to know him as a neat dark suit or a clerical Collar ... a pipe nodding in quiet comprehension, ... a brown leather chair rocked back to view the Situation from the proper prospective . . . listening With infinite patience . . . and encouragement. We came to know him as a laughing father . . . swinging A child lightly in his arms ... or perhaps, We came to know him as a flowing white robe, quietly Instilling within us philosophy in the Most comprehensive way . . . knowing us for what we arc . . . challenging us with what we can do. He has asked few questions, given many answers . . . Reproved us when we were wrong, encouraged Us when we were right . . . nurtured our respect, earned Our love . . .
