Employed in classroom, auditorium, or science laboratory, the lacuky assistants wield their tools— the t ' iiewriter, mimeograph machine, marking pencil, and roll book. A cheerful .smile and the tjuestion May 1 help you? are the trademarks of the library assistants. Their duties include finding periodicals anti reference materials, check ing out books, and adding up fines on overdue books. Please pass your jiiaies to the end of the table. To those of us who enjoy LR ' s family style meals, these are familiar words. They are spoken by the members of the dining hall crew, who besides waiting at regular meals also ser ' e at special banquets for ci ' ic and community organizations.
