Student Government The Student Government members are elected by the Student Body. This group is the heart of the students, and the secret of the success of their go ' erning lies in the co-operation of the students with the elected officers to enforce the rules and regulations as set forth in the Constitution. When they fail, it is usually because we fail them. Under the leadership of President Dave Wright, the Cabinet initiated an orientation program for the freshmen; appointed a day student adviser to the Cabinet; sold blazers on campus; published a day student newsletter; presented in chapel pro- grams dealing with the honor system; continued work on a new Constitution. These are some of the major highlights of this year ' s student government, but they busied them- selves with many other matters. It was a progressive year!
