ONE MOMENT VICTORY The Lancers had a very disappointing season, losing all but one game. Lennox’s one moment of victory came when they downed the Hawthorne Cougars 20-16, the first game ever played by the two teams. Although Lennox only won one of their games, they kept their pride by fighting with all they had. Although Lennox only won one game, we should still pay tribute to those who did outstanding on the team. The Most Valuable Player was Kevin Lawrence, and the Most Scored Points went to Anthony Hampton. Letchen Parker, Kevin Lawrence and Graig Gutman were players who made All-League Team. SOPH-FROSH comes in 2nd place This year was a whole different story from last year. When this young Soph-Frosh team was unable to capture a single victory. The young Lancers came out this year, against a tough Culver City team and tied them 7-7. From there on their competition got a little tougher, and in their pre-season games they fell short. But when the league came the young Soph-Frosh team was almost unstopable averaging over 20 points a game while allowing their opponents less than 10 points. The Lancers worse defeat came against Miraleste. The Lancers needed this win to go into 1st place and come in 1st place in the League. In this gruelling game the Lancers played a great defense, but needed help with their offense, losing the game 23-21. 28
