Goodwill Crewmen participated in the pres- identfs People to People program during the cruise by distributing toys, books, gum and kites to children of the I-long Kong Boys and Girls Association, and by donating blood to the I-long Kong chapter of the International Red Cross. The ship also carried lO tons of schoolbooks and medical supplies destined for use in the Philippines and in Viet Nam. The supplies were off loaded at Subic Bay for redis- tribution after being brought by Lenawee from San Diego. K:
