C, T. Boylen, MC, and Lt. R, H, Libby, DC. They and their staff of hospital-men have the facilities of two operating theaters, X-ray equipment, a laboratory and complete dental clinic to assist them in their mission. Among the publications kept current by quarter- masters are a complete chart and Sailing direction file of the entire Pacific Ocean, Other duties include keeping the ship's quartermaster's notebook of the day's events and operation of fathometer,loran and all weather forecasting facilities aboard.
