Lenape Regional's excellent wrestling team per- formed outstandingly in every meet. The grapplers who practiced laboriously in this, one of the most grueling contests of individual efforts, were almost consistent winners with an ll-3 record. Both the coach and the team experienced an array of tremendous spirit and unwavering drive to pro- gress together toward victory. With such standout wrestlers as Jerry Bisignano, Mike Gatto, Fritz Hinchman, and many others, the Indians literally Htore up the competition at the District Champi- onships, winning 9 of the 12 weight divisions. Through this teamis efforts, the popularity of this sport in Lenape and throughout the county, has grown exceedingly. And with live experienced lettermen re- turning next year, Coach Schnepf hopes to have an- other powerful season. 177
