Although the girls hockey team had an unfav- orable record, the season was both rewarding and successful. Moorestownls annual tilt devel- oped into a memorable and exciting contest, demonstrating the athletic abilities of the fair sex . Defensively the most outstanding player was senior, Bev Burger, while Karen Fichter, our high scorer, ranked first on the offense. Combining better spirits and a greater drive to win, with the excellent freshman and sophomore turnouts, next year promises an even more thrill- ing and auspicious season.
