DEDICATION Dale Brown was born to Mr. ana Mrs. Cecil Brown on August 8, 1923 in Nowata, Oklahoma. His parents moved to the Winganon area where he grew up and attended school. It was at Alluwe however, that he graduated in 1942. During World War II he served in England with the Eighth Air Force as a teletype operator and was discharged in September 1945. Mr.Brown worked in the oil and propane business until 1956. At that time he went to work in the National Zinc laboratory where he is still employed today. He served on the Lenapah Board of Education for twenty-five years and was highly regarded for his common sense approach to problem solving and the exceptional recall of his memory. He is a quiet man and listens intently; but when he speaks, what he says has merit and is certainly worth the utmost consideration. His contribution to our school and community is beyond measure and his influence will definitely be felt for many years in the future. We want to take this heartfelt opportunity to say thank you, Mr. Brown.
