THE EAGLE High School Faculty Seniors Juniors Sophomores Athletics Favorites Activities Lenapah, Oklahoma Organizations Junior High Elementary Faculty Elementary Ads Mj Duani wl Duane Hallum always gave his best to everything he attempted, and he realized that the best life comes in service to others. After graduating from LHS in 1964, Duane decided to teach. He taught for a while after he received his Bachelor's and Master's degree from Kansas State College at Pittsburg, but felt his interests could be better in the top 10% of his class at the Dallas Police Academy. He bacame a dedicated officer, and this dedication cost Duane his life on August 21, when he was killed in the line of duty. He was a remarkable person who gave so much to so many in such a short period of time. 2 School Board - Left to Right: Joe Stewart, member: Shirley Webster, Clerk; Dale Brown, President; Louis Matthews, member; and Louis Hadley, Vice President.
