Table Of Contents CONCENTRATION We of Lenapah High School dedicate this annual to the memory of Mr. Jack Swanson. He was appointed to the school board in 1963, and was an active member until 67, and was clerk that year. He became President in 1968, and continued in this office until 1970. He was again a member in 1971, and was Vice President for two years: 1972 and 1973. During these ten years of service, we feel he has helped us in more ways than we shall ever know. In a letter he left at home when he went to have his heart surgery, he said he loved his community and hoped to be remembered for any small contributions he had made. In loving memory we dedicate this annual to Jack Swanson. 4 Board Of Education Dist. 1-1 LEFT TO RIGHT: Louis Hadley, Jack Lowrey, William Mangels, Ivan Brown. NOT SHOWN: Shirley Webster. LEE R. The 1973-74 basketball season proved to be a successful, yet discouraging year for the Lenapah varsity cagers. The Eagles, who compiled an overall record of 16-7, took first places in their conference and the Cherokee Nations Bi-Conference. However, they were often plagued during the year by a lack of unity and poor ball handling and suffered losses in districts, the Miami Tournament, and the finals of the Nowata Invitational Tournament.
