Our first activity was a float for the Lion's Fall Festival Parade. Next we were initiated by the merciless sophomores. The following year 37 of us returned as sophomores, electing: Adrienne Schneider, presidentg Norman Hintz, vice-president, Mary Jean Rampenthal, sec- retary, LaVerne Buske, treasurerg and Wendel Kurth, class representative. Our advisers were Miss Hoffman and Mr. Macomber. In September, we initiated the freshmen and they gave us a return party. In February we gave a one act play, Billy Buys an Orchid. This year there were 34 in the class, with Mrs. Kane and Mr. Burkhalter as our advisers. We elected Norman Hintz, president, Roger Bohm, vice-president, Adrienne Schneider, secretaryg Mary Jean Rampenthal, treasurer, and Jerry Monigold, class representative. In November we presented the highly successful three act play, We Shook the Family Tree. and in December we received our class rings. Finally, in May, we sponsored a Jr.-Sr. banquet and prom to bring another year to a close.

Sophomores We started our freshman year by electing Clyde Price president, Norma Jean Boeke vice-president, Barbara Phillips secretary, Helaine Klaas treasurer, and Darryl Sherman as class representative. Our advisers were Miss Helene Dunn and Mr. Bogart. We were initiated by the merciless sophomores, and the surviving freshman gave a party in return. As sophomores we elected James Kraus president, John Holman vice-president, Constance Harbach secretary, Kay Holmes treasurer, Norma Jean Boeke class rep- resentative, and Linda Starr and Clyde Price as Sports Council members. With we entered a float in the Fall the magazine sale. We sponsor- presented a very successful one school, We initiated the fresh- the losing team in the magazine our advisers Miss Hoffman and Mr. Macomber Festival and placed third. We took first place in ed an all high school dance in November. We act play Campaign for Two before the entire men. We had a sophomore dance sponsored by sale.
