Band Mr Vemon Macomber is the dlI'9Ct0I' of the bands and the baton twlrlers ThlS department partlcipated 1n many 3Ct1Vlt1ES, such as the Fall Festlval Music Fest lvals, and Memorlal Day concerts besides its summer concerts and appearances at faxrs The pep band whlch played at the basketball games was under the student direction of Verla Llebergesell Many indivldual members entered the dlstrlct and state muslc contests as sololsts or in axembles. This year there were about flfty baton twlrlers who performed m parades Sev eral of them performed mdxvldually at basketball games. Mr Macoumber is aided by several student teachers.
