The undergrad teams at L.H.S. not only continued their winning style but the Frosh-Soph squad completed an UNDEFEATED season. They put their heads down and headed for the team's goal. . .the league championship. The fighting Kittens had one of the biggest teams in the league and they intimidated their foes. Tim Torres controlled the offense at quarterback, with Otis Tolbert and Chuck Sterret leading the running backs. Where the power- ful offense couldn't score, the dynamic defense took over. The defense, guided by Patrick Simas, Jaime Cavazos, and George Gaffney shut off any threat of scoring. These Kittens will be back next year as J.V.'s and fighting Varsity Tigers. Night Rally: Rowdy Success' Lets get a little bit rowdy, R-O-W, uh D-Y. And with the Juniors there to lead everyone, it was easy! Their spirit was sky high. They started out on the right foot by winning the three- legged race hands ffeet'?lJ down. And then they took the pyramid building AND the overall spirit award. The Seniors, with their beautiful first place cheerlead- ers, won a tough egg tossing con- test against the Freshmen. The Sophomores won the relay race and with Mike Elton Benito and Rick Kiki Gillett, took first in the queen contest. And the Fresh- men. Well, there's always next year!
