funior Class Ujficers After a two year struggle, we finally made the Junior Grade, Our first proud moment came after winning Grand Prize in the Homecoming Parade. That evening the Junior Class sponsored the Homecoming Dance. A few months later, we launched a very successful magazine drive. In fact, we sold more magazines than any other Junior Class in the history of Lemont High School. Our next venture occurred when we ordered round class rings instead of the traditional square settings of Lemont High. Everyone was surprised but pleased at our choice, Perhaps the most memorable occasion was the fun we had planning the Prom, Reverie Francais, We would like to thank our sponsors, Miss Lyons, Miss Roebuck, and Mr. Beaman for their co- operation and understanding during that period of time when none of the decorations seemed to hang quite right and we were suffering from last minute jitters. Later that evening, Bill Long, our Class President. crowned Bill Gwodz, our Vice President, King of the Prom, and Michalene Pazin, Queen of the Prom for 1962. As the days passed, Dave Woods, our Treasurer, and Tony Welan, our Secretary, looked woefully at our treasurer After the prom, we'll have to really get busy next year to replenish our account. However, our Student Council representatives, Bob Weber, Bob Endecavageh, Larry Larkins, Dorothy Vodziak, Marilyn Weck, and Norine Hanrahan assure us of some unique ideas for next years schedule. So, we're looking forward to our Senior Year at Lemont High School. It will be our last and most rewarding.
