GO TEAM! LET'S GO TEAM. ATHLETICS AT LEMON T The Athletic teams at Lemont High have been highly successful the past year. The football team won the Fox Valley Conference Championship for two consecutive years. The fine spirit displayed by the students and teachers spurred the boys on for additional Ixmrels. Again a member of the team received the Most Valuable Player Award, Bob Hunter, captain, winning the honor this year, while Ray Mankowski was the title winner for 1940. The winning spirit carried on from football into the basketball and baseball seasons. Stony hopes that Lemont I-Ii's spirit will see the teams on their winning way in years to come.
