INTO THE SENIORS' SHOES. W IUNIOR CLASS OF 1942 . . I fu li in Struggling and toiling for the last three years, the Juniors have almost 'tmade the grade. We hope they take care of the precious title of seniors we now bestow upon them. To make certain, let's glance over their activities. Coming in as Keewees they were handed over to Miss McCabe and Mr. Piecarski to see what could be done with them. Class leaders for this year were: President, Irene Man- kowskig Vice-President, Lupe Martinezg Secretary, Corrine Ott: Treas- urer, John Mitchell. Their first party, which was given in May, showed great talent. Officers for their second year were: President, Abe Ordmang Vice- President, Marie Kendzorag Secretary, Corrine Ott: Treasurer, Norma Eichelberger. During this year they gave a Christmas Party. Now, in their third year and supposedly big shots, we congratu- late them on their fine cooperation, for they undertook quite a few responsibilities in helping us make this book a success. They spon- sored a program in honor of National Education Week, and were also in charge of selling candy and milk at noon intervals, these profits aided in financing the Junior-Senior Prom. This was their last affair and a huge success. Officers for the year were: President, Abe Ord- man: Vice-President, Norma Eichelbergerg Treasurer, Marie Kendzorag Secretary for the girls, Lillian Baranowski, for the boys, Roger Bauer. So, upon reflection, we'll say you've made the grade. Signed, THE SENIORS. 18

So, being more enlightened as to what is expected of them, they feel that it is now their turn to look down upon those who have filled their places. Officers elected for their Freshman year were: President, Okla Swearingeng Vice-President, Virginia Markiewiczg Secretary, Bernard Tasharskiq Treasurer, Rose Boula. The girls' home-room teacher is Miss Radican and for the boys, Miss Johnson. Now in their second year, they elected: President, Lloyd Rohderg Vice-President, Harlan Junglesg Secretary, Rose Boulag and Treasurer, Virginia Markiewicz. They sponsored a Christmas Party and also a program in honor of Lincoln's Birthday. This class possesses some very fine athletes, and they really go out and earn those letters. Stony says, Keep 'em rolling, Sophs. 19
