S. this year, they discovered that although their group had decreased, they still needed two home rooms. These are located at the baek of the auditorium and are presided over by Miss Ryder and Mrs. Mclilhaney. Several Sophomores were in the school play. Yes! This is the third year here at L. H. S. for the Class of '49, Since they first started to high school, they have lost quite a few of their classinatcs. They learned, much to their chagrin that they would occupy the rooni vacated by the Class ot '48, the stage. Their ire was elevated to a rather high pitch when they discovered that they would have to move from their room quite frequently. They also acquired a new teacher this year, Mrs. Barbara Stroup. ACTIVITIES 'Pop Reads A Christnias Carol presented to student body by Class of '-l9. Two '-l9'ers joined the cast of A Date Vl'ith Judy. ' Four cheer leaders were selected from the Class of '-W. They found that there were 47 gay little people in their class. Of these 47 they have lost four: Doris Smit, Annabelle Zeis, Elva Myers, and Paul Gordon.
