I A As one special project for the year the Council is revising the handbook and hopes to publish it before the close of the grade schools. This handbook will prove a real aid to incoming pupils, as well as being a real glide to all pupils. Another . project to be completed by the Council and published in the handbook is e.n activity point system. At present a separate system of awards applies to each activity. The new plan calls for one system of awards, points toward which may be earned in any activity. Points will be based on the amount of time required by' the activity and ability shown by the pupil. To further enhance the lavatoriee, greatly improved by a coat of paint during the past summer, the Council plans to purchase mirrors for the wells. They are also considering the painting of the floors of the playrocms and dressing rooms to help hold down the cement dust.
