September 9- Can't seem to get ourselves settled as Seniors should. Realize we aren't good uoxamplos.n Septemher 10- uDizzyn, tircd of picking peaches, decides school is more educational and rejoins us. Life seems more natural now. We can keep up with the baseball news easier. September 13- The boys spent the whole noon hour trying to make a hit with the freshman girls. The girls evidently enjoyed the hair-pulling. They squealed for more. September 17- Mildred Reeder answered to the roll csll today. Welcome heme, Mildred! September 20- luss Wineman introduces us to the new UGuidence Class.n Spent the period picking home-roem committees. . Sejtonber 23- NDizzyn and NPeyporH appear vith huge bouquets of flowers For the teacher? October 18- Gave the first asscmbly program of the year. Feel we gave the underclassmcn something to live up to. October 21- Phyllis reports she was very thoroughly kissed last night. Every girl should lcorn the technique of tying knots in shoe strings-- so Ushon suggests. October 24- Rowe seems to have acquired a special interest in Mercersburg Rumor says he has the road between there and Fort Loudon almost worn out. Could it be a girl? October 28- Senior girls become faddists. Advertising the new campus socks. Boys fail to appreciate the change, Poke fun. October 30- The girls really started something. Whole school has campus- sock fever. October 31- Ha1lowe'en party. Find some disguised alumni. November 1- Hunting season opens. Hunters may hunt, but they don't always find--so we learn. November L- Rowe's rabbit stories today smelled fishy to Harold. We hear him say, Nwell, you didn't catch them all, because I ran one up a tree and he never came down.n November 5- Rowe is still talking about the cottontail he Usmoked outn of e tree--that is, when he isn't arguing politics. November 8- Every five minutes Harold asks Sara if she get seesick going up Nsult rivern. He is still waiting for the answer.
