Miss Sta A. McCul.Louc:u To her forty-five years of unparalleled service and sincere devotion to school children, to her still young and indomitable spirit and her continued interest in youth, to her exemplification of noble living, to the respect, love, and admiration she has won from every- one, to Miss Sue, we dedicate our Parnellian. Miss Sue A. McCullough was born November 15, 1869, near Fort Loudon, in Peters Township. She received her early schooling at the Mountain Home rural school and Fort Loudon grammar school. Later she attended two spring terms at Shippensburg Normal School, two spring terms at the Mercersburg Academy fNormal Classy, two summer terms at the Orrstown Select School, and took two extension courses given at Mercersburg under the auspices of the Shippensburg Normal School. Miss McCullough's teaching experiences included two years at the Mountain Home School, two years at Potter's School, Dry Run, four years in the primary grades at Upton, one year in the grammar grades at Upton, one year at Markes, two years at Oak Grove, and thirty-three years in the primary grades at Lemasters. After forty-five years of teaching service Miss McCullough retired in 1932. Since her retirement Miss McCullough has been living in Lemasters, where she still leads an active life for her seventy-two years.
