W .K L , 1 ' H 3 I .J 0. .' - CLASS PRGPI-IEC? This is an old classmate of yours trying to locate the 15 cents I 1oa.ned 1?-2 to someone in our Senior Class of '52, I can't remember who. Because you had such a good memory, I thought you could tell me who it was. By the way, what are you doing now? Secretary of the Hershey Candy Company in Pennsylvania? You get around, don't you? You mean Patsy Gainey is singing at the Stork Club? I'm glad she's going further with her voice. Have you heard about Drew Fulcher - Camera it is now - and her four- teen kids and a Cadillac? Pvt. Camera must have been promoted to afford that. Did you see Donna Skipper's picture in the paper? Yes! She fought with the Marines in the Korean War and is now a five-star general. I think I told you I was a farmer in Leland. The other day as I was plow- ing, Martha Medlin landed her helicopter right on my corn rows, and scared my mule away. To make up for that, she flew me all the way to Wilmington, and I'saw that new Belk-Beery Store. I was so glad to get back, because Martha never could even drive a car. She owns an airport in San Francisco, California. Do you know in what part of the world Wayne Austin could be found? Indianapolis? A speedway demon? Well, I didn't know that Farrnall tractor could do it. And his brother, Sebern Austin, where is he? Bat-boy for the Yankees! And to think he was such a faithful Rebel. What people won't do for money. ' Do you know what Danny Brew is doing now? He has given up hopes of being a baseball player and is going to run for president, despite Pendergast. Have you heard about Ken McGee's election as Mayor of Battle Royal? Floyd Sellars lost the election, but is now a prominent lawyer in Southport. All alcoholic establishments are closed in both of these large cities. Let me tell you some more about our old classmates. Deloris Lewis is now one of the best actresses in this country. At the present time she is star- ring in an Academy Award picture, 'Where Comes the Groom', now playing at the Delco Theatre. Mildred Gainey is now coaching football at N. C. State College, she's what you might call another Lucille Sweeney. By the way, Colleen Simmons is the wife of a local patrolman. She now drives a silver Ford. Maybe she has finally found the right man, but confi- dentially, I think she just wanted' to drive around with the siren open. Buggar Sue is now an inventor, and we are very proud of him. His last invention, a wonderful discovery, was a better clothespin. Kay Raynor has stopped teaching English and is now a cover girl for Esguire Magazine4 Jo Ann Coates is now a popular singer. She is singing on the Hit Parade. Inez, did you see where Virginia Lewis ran for 'Miss America'? Even though she won it, she is still running. This time it's for a man. Your time is up, sir. That will be 56.00, please. But my 15 cents! Oh!! Ohh! ! ! Miz B f J .1-'gg 1' X
