The year that has just passed is one I will never forget. I enjoyed every day of my stay at Leland. I found the students very helpful and friendly. This experience I have had in a school with a very different kind of peoplefrom another part of this vast world could have ended in failure, but thanks to the helping hands of the students I was able to survive. I gained many new friends and fulfilled the very purpose of my being here. The stay proved to be very interesting to me. I met different teachers with different methods and ideas about teaching. I was able to share my problems with other students as well as listen to theirs. My experience at Leland has been very fulfilling. Thank you for everything. Sawce ?0YVL walk 54.0. Dear Leland High School Now that I have been attending Leland for my senior year and am about to leave, I would like you to know how much I enjoyed it. Everyone here has been so nice to me and helped me whenever necessary. You simply can't imagine what an experience it has been to attend school in a foreign country, especially when there is such a difference. Rallies, football games, the rooter-bus, the snackbar, House of Representatives and even the counselors were entirely new to me. I am afraid I will miss all of these when I return to Ger- many this year. I would like you to know that I am happy to have gained new friends. Let me thank you once more for everything in a German word, DANKESCHON! 3l 9' iw 5 i. gn, ir' L '2 ii 2
