At the time of this writing, our league record stands at 2 wins, 3 losses, with 6 games remaining. The sophomores started the season strong, winning 2 of their first 3 games against junior Varsity com- petition. At this point 6'7 Guy Leo was shifted to the Varsity squad. This left the tallest player at 6'2 . Lacliing physical size, the sophomores have largely compensated through teamwork and a pressing defence. Highlights of the season thus far are the double overtime win against Oak Grove and a last second win over San jose, when Don Siegel's shot went in with 4 remaining to win - 39-38. Individually, the team is led by Steve johnson and Don Siegel, each averaging 9 points per game, and Ken McMaster's 10 points per game and 780!o free throw percentage. 1 'ft Ag
