Sam Mash This years theme for the Leland Legend is time, and assessing the class, the book, and the school year ... has been quite a time. The class has impressed me this year as an experience, unique, original and a phenomenon that could only happen in the time and the place it did. lt's permissive organization and the 'spirit' of the class made for an exciting year with all kinds of times, times of work, play, friendship lnot necessarily in that order! and times when we 'ain't got time', but overall it is a time to remember. The spectrum of the yearbook class, the school activities, the students and teachers alike, all com- pound to make this time at Leland, in it's uniqueness a passing spree of learning, sharing and understanding.
