At Leland in the fall semester, we tied togeth- er the loose ends of the constitution, and estab- lished school traditions. We have finished the constitution, which was rushed to completion for the opening of Leland in 1967. One of the major changes which was insti- tuted was a nominations convention. This system of selecting school offi- cers, stimulates student interest and provides for qualified candidates. In addition the nominations convention is an excellent learning opportunity. This past year, it was a great pleasure and chal- lenge being A.S.B. Presi- dent. I want to take time here to thank all those people who made it a pleasure and rose to the challenge. Without the many hardworking com- missioners it would have been an impossibility to handle the associated student body.
