Francom, P. Heraira, D. Langley, B. Cornilius SOPH TEAM IMPRESSIV The Sophomore Team had a fine turnout, initially counting over 50 candidates. Valuable experience was gained in compiling a 2-4-2 record. This was the first experience in tackle football for most of the players. Offensively the Chargers were led by the running of Art Saldi- var and pass catching of Cary Riddell and Curt Moore, with Bob McLean and Erin Adams sharing the quarterback post. Defense proved to be the team's forte. A strong defensive at- tack was Ied by Bob Laubacks fine play at the lineback post, with able assistance from Rick Rule, lack Henderson and Rick Welde on the front line. R. McLean blocks as E.
