Queen Lisa Kuhlman Homecoming spirit lingered in the air during Homecoming Spirit Week. People with various costumes roamed the halls. From Shade Day to Punk Day people were seen with shade trees, sunglasses, and wild punkish outfits. Other days gave the LHS fans opportunities to show their spirit by wearing their favorite hats, dressing inside out, and wearing purple and gold attire. Thursday night was designated for the bonfire which boosted everyone's spirits. The Homecoming ceremonies continued through Friday night with the football game and the in-trouction of the queen and her court, the crowning of the queen, and the announcement of the plaque winners — the Seniors — whose plaque best corresponded with this year's theme of A Year Of Excellence. The Homecoming festivities ended Saturday night with the Homecoming Dance, the theme being Rock of Ages. The entertainment was provided by J.B. Sound. Freshman Attendant Lori Walls 20
