Uk diy Fgeylog vu Qs-4 95 aa., NHTQRY uuq 'uglw I 'lf 't' ,of We were assembled in the auditorium of old Leipsic High, this time for the final practice of the graduation program. At a signal from Mr. Garster, voices blended in the melody of our school song, and our thoughts went back to the day we were freshmen. September 7, 1949, was the big day. We were met by an enormous swarm of upperclassmen who plastered our faces with lipstick and made us bow to them every time we passed them. As you can see, we all survived this and were beginning to get accustomed to high school. We chose Phil Warren as our president, with Carl Maag, Ann Warren, and Jackie Taylor as vice- president, secretary, and treasurer. We had Mr. Christy as our class adviser. l-le has helped us through many difficult situations. After three months of vacation we returned to school as sophomores. Rosemary Alt, who was chosen president, was aided by Robert Peoples, Jane Warren, and Robert Miller in the capacities ofvice- president, secretary, and treasurer, respectively. Then came summer vacation. Time seemed to sprout wings, for almost before we knew it the second half of our high school career had begun. We were at it again -- this time with chemistry, geometry, and American history. There was no doubt about it. The old Alma Mater had plans for usl Serving us well as class officers were Tom Seibeneck, president, Phil Warren, vice-president: Ann Warren, secretary: and Jane Warren treasurer.
