WE REMEMBER: T he class of 1986 experienced tragic losses on both a personal and a national level. We be¬ gan our senior year with the loss of a fellow student, athlete, and friend, Thomas Arguijo. He was a person that always had a smile and was always willing to help. We also suffered the loss of a recent alumni, Katherine Hartnett. She was an outstanding history scholar, a National Honor Society member, as well as a person with a charming and warm personality. We mourned with the nation the loss of the crew of the space shuttle. The Challenger. Many of us huddled together in the school library to receive that fateful news on a day that is etched into all of our memories. These people have touched our lives in a way which we will always remember. Memories of these people will always be in our hearts as well as in our minds. 4
