Because I am one of rts forergn correspondents and I am loyal to the magazrne that I help pub lrsh' Srnce my early youth I have craved adventure so for thrs reason I am extremely happy Wrth my travels throughout the world True rt took me twenty years to get thrs job but never the less I have rt' In my pro fessron rt rs my job and pleasure to meet people but none of the people that I meet wrll exer compare to my fellow classmates rt Lercester Hr h lt was only recently that I wrth a great deal of research and luck was 'rble to frnd out the professron that each of them had entered I had kept rn touch wrth Kathy O Donnell so I knew that she was happrly marrred and the proud mother of srx beautrful chrldren' She had rnformed me that Bette Kzng and True Hyland had entered the relrgrous order and were now srsters of Anna Marla College ln Paxton That James Campbell and Erzc Larsson are assrstant prrncrpals of the new hrgh school and that the coach of therr rnter hrgh champron football team rs Kennej Chad That the new janrtors are Robert Lan son and Earl Bazely who keep the rts Pat Nzxon But the new hrgh school rs not the only rmprovement rn town Buddy Carl son rs a dentrst and wrth the ard of hrs secre tary Janet Smrth he makes Colgate smrles sojourn Robert Ethzer owns a large drrve rn Paul Rackz operates a beautrful rrdrng acad emy and Donald Lagecy runs a large nrght club' The rest of the Krds lrke me had left town so now rt was up to me to frnd out just where they were and what they were dorng Wrth thrs thought rn mrnd I left my surte rn the Waldorf Astoria and pro ceded to my offrce on 5th Avenue but the word awarted me that I was to leave rm medrately for Parrs on an assrgnment so I was forced to put off my lrttle project for the trme berng Runnrng outsrde to the street I harled a cab and ordered the drrver to take me 1m medrately to the arrport The drrver laughed and mocked my command Irked by hrs rudeness I started to tell hrm off when I reco nrzed hrm a one of my hrgh school classmates Wendell Barthelmesl I jorned rn hrs laughter and on the way to the arr port we remrnrsced about all the fun that we had at dear old Lercester Hrgh From hrm I learned that Earl Pearson and Wzl Izam Fongeallaz were also New York Cab drrvers that Srd Stone owned a cafe rn the Bronx and that he was pullrng rn the cus tomers Wrth the trumpet playrng of the Wrr ht brothers Ken and Bzll and the srng mg of Ronnze Robzdoux When we reached the arrport I sard goodbye to Wendell and thanked hrm for the free rrde I had no sooner settled mysel' rn the plane when a mockrng vorce asked Prllow Ma dam '7 I looked up rnto the smrlrng face of Stewardess Eva Rabrdou Because of her dutres I was only able to talk brrefly Wrth her but rn that trme I learned that Walter Keatzng was prlot of the plane and that Mary Mzller was a Stewardess on a rrval arrlrne Unable to sleep I borrowed a Magazrne from my seat mate and whrle glancrng through rt I was amazed to frnd an artrcle about a woman screntrst who had astonrshed the scrence world by drscoverrng a drug that completely rsolates man from drsease Thrs woman was Jan Van Hook another of my old classmates' Isnt rt wonderful how luck always brrngs old frrends together rf not physrcally mentally?
